Psychology
Instructor: Mrs. Hegler
This course is designed to provide an introduction to the problems and methods of studying behavior, to present the basic principles underlying human behavior, and to present a survey of the discipline of psychology. Psychology is a discipline which overlaps biology, sociology, political science, history, communications, economics, anthropology, business and other realms of academic and nonacademic pursuit. General psychology is recommended for all students seeking a better understanding of human behavior. General psychology is a part of the core curriculum for students majoring in education, psychology, sociology, social work, and nursing, and is often a general education requirement in other fields of study.
